The mare makes the difference! This is certainly the case for Orzando’s dam. Valerien jumped at 1.35m level and obtained the Elite, preferent and sport predicates. She is not only celebrated for her own achievements. She also produced two international jumpers. Fornarina Z (s.Carthino Z) jumps 1.45m classes with Dave Maarse and Gabriele Petrucci also has an offspring of Valerine in her stables. J-Rocco Z (s.Zirocco Blue VDL) is active in the international 1.35m classes. If one would take a closer look at the dam line of Orzanda you would notice sport is deeply embedded in this lineage.
Orando lives up to the expectations set by his family. He has a good type, a powerful canter in which he demonstrates to lengthen and shorten his stride very easily and finally he is gifted with abundant scope. The son of Jacquet-Go (s.Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) has all it takes to develop into a good jumper horse. Orzando is not backed yet.
