If you want a sport pony or possibly a pony stallion approved at a later date, you should definitely bid on Don Lewis de Tilo. His pedigree guarantees that. His sire is the BRp elite stallion Konquistador van Orchids (°2011), who was approved as a breeding stallion by BRp in 2014. This son of Kanshebber caused a furore in sports: vice champion at the BRp showjumping competition in Mechelen (2015), winner of a contest showjumping and dressage for young ponies in East Flanders (2016), bronze at the provincial championship D-middle in East Flanders (2017), successfully jumping at the age of six at 1m20 level (end 2017), international CSI debut at 1m25 level (2018) and later also at 1m30 level.
Don Lewis de Tilo’s dam is the five-year-old Lewis van de Laarbossen, a daughter of Lexus van de Claevervallei out of a King Stayerhof’s Jango dam. Both Lexus and his sire, Vedet van de Vondelhoeve, have jumped internationally. King Stayerhof’s Jango is also a well-known name in international sport, with a silver team medal at the European Championship in Strzegom (2019) and victories in Aachen and Exloo. In short, Don Lewis de Tilo has everything to make it happen.
