The 5-year-old gelding Lethbridge Champion Z is a son of the famous Luigi d’Eclipse. Under the saddle of Maikel van der Vleuten, the Catoki stallion jumps convincingly at CSI5* level, performing excellent on a weekly basis. In turn, dam’s sire Cosun also jumped at the very highest level and even competed at the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2017. Lethbridge Champion Z’s granddam Uline DB produced the 1.60m showjumper Fillmore DB and the 1.50m showjumper Euline DB. Great-granddam U.Praline is the dam of Nova Scotia Z, who recently jumped clear in the Grand Prix of Geesteren with Hendrik-Jan Schuttert. Finally, the line of Lethbridge Champion Z goes back to the famous family of former World Cup Final winner Simon by Beezie Madden and Jeroen Dubbeldam.
Lethbridge Champion Z is a horse with a lot of potential. He is very easy to ride and has a good canter with a lot of balance. He jumps with a very nice technique, is careful and has scope. All in all a very complete horse.
