A black pearl among jumpers. Dark Prince is endowed with an efficient canter, which will undoubtedly translate into sporting value in the future. This colt is almost a mirror image of his sire – the magnificent stallion Dominator Z, who, ridden by Christian Ahlmann, wins practically every competition. In his career to date he has won a total of €1,250,000 winning competitions of the GP 5* rank.
The dam of Overra van’t Kattenheye (Comme Il Faut) was sold in 2014 at Belgium Warmblood Foals Auction for 24.000€ and in her career competed at 1.15m. Dark Prince’s grandmother Cleopatra van’t Goemanshof (Nabab de Reve) made history as an excellent breeding mare. Among her progeny, Racket-K van’t Kattenheye should be singled out – a young athlete successfully competing in international parks at 1.35m. His great-grandmother – the mare Ucha van’t Lindelommer (Heartbreaker) – produced Denver van’t Goemanshof, who reached 1.60m level and competed in 5* shows under Ludo and Olivier Philippaerts.
