Colorado Z is a colt by the great Chacco Blue out of the Grand Prix winning mare Funky Music by the World Champion Vigo d’Arsouilles. The dam Funky Music was placed top 8 in more than 40 classes between 1.45m and 1.60m, she won 3 Grand Prix at 1.45m and was placed in 3 Grand Prix at 1.60m. As a sports mare she was absolutely outstanding and as a broodmare she’s even better! She gave her first foal at the age of 3, that was Bretling du Paradis Z who jumped at 1.60m GP level with Rik Hemeryck, her 2nd foal remained a broodmare and gave Marit Skollerud’s 1.50m placed Esprit d’Intro Z. Next was the licenced stallion and World Cup winner El Torreo de Muze of Bernardo Alves. At the age of 8 she gave Next Funky de Muze, the last of her offspring at an age old enough to compete. Next Funky jumped already at 1.50m level with Jos Verlooy and in Knokke, under Dimme d’Haese she jumped 9 classes at 1.40m and 1.45m of which she was placed in 8 and won 2 of them! Funky Music is a sister of the World Cup horse Quartz Music of Gilles Bertand de Balanda and a sister of Funky gave Fortis Fortuna of Daniel Coyle, who is the dam of Max Sebrechts’ Cacacha van het Schaeck, who is the dam of Marlon Zanotelli’s Grand Prix winner Diamond van het Schaeck.
