Anyone planning to breed top-class horses should not ignore this filly. She is exceptionally refined, feminine, and displays the rounded gallop so desirable in show jumping horses.
Her sire is Diaron OLD, from the Lewitz Stud. He is a two-time German Young Horse Champion. He owes his international successes up to the 150 cm level to Patrick Stühlmeyer and Alexi Stais. He has won international competitions in Verden Kronenberg (Grand Prix) and Neustadt/Dosse. His collection of sons who have obtained breeding licenses includes Diablue PS and Diakato PS, who, under Łukasz Koza, won the Polish Young Horse Champion title in the 4-year-old category and is currently successfully continuing his career at the 145 cm level.
His dam, Necessary, competed in show jumping at the 120 cm level. She is a half-sister to the renowned Equifit Captain Z, who competes at the 160 cm level. His third dam, Libelle VIII (by Carthago), sired seven show jumping horses, five of which reached the 135-140 cm level.
Nabab de Rêve, his dam’s sire, is the legendary Belgian-bred stallion. He competed successfully at the international level for the Belgian team, ridden by Philippe Le Jeune. Together with the team, they won a bronze medal at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera and contributed to a second-place finish at the CSIO Nations Cup in Lucerne and the CSIO in Dublin. In 2002, the Belgians named him “Horse of the Year.” He also excelled as a sire. He sired stallions that achieved international level, such as: Vigo d’Arsouilles (World Champion 2010, Horse of the Year in Belgium), Glock’s London (double silver medalist at the 2012 London Olympics, team World Champion 2014), Kashmir van’t Schuttershof (valued sport horse and sire), Glasgow van ‘t Merelsnest (160 cm class showjumping horse, winner of many Grand Prix, valuable sire) and many others.
