Ukato K van Kattenheye

Ukato-K van Kattenheye has everything to make it happen in the big showjumping sport. He is the result of crossing Ducati van Schuttershof with a full sister to the international performer Indoktro-K van ‘t Kattenheye. Ducati is by the progenitor Kashmir van Schuttershof, combined with a direct daughter of the legendary Qerly Chin (BWP dam line 34). Under the saddle of Gilles Thomas, Ducati has performed at international 1m50 to 1m55 level. Several sons of Ducati have now been approved as breeding stallions, including Sambuca JW van ’t Meulenhof, Porfavor HC, Duca Chin DK, Newcati and Tjo DC. Who knows, we might add Ukato-K van Kattenheye to this list.

Ukato-K’s granddam is none other than Eloubet van de Doorndonkhoeve. She has already emphasized her value for breeding and showjumping several times. She is the dam of four approved stallions (Indoktro-K, Mr Uno-K, Rockit-K and Sky Blue-K van ’t Kattenheye) and the granddam of the approved stallion Rhythm-K van ’t Kattenheye. Eloubet produced several outstanding showjumpers, such as Indoktro-K van ’t Kattenheye (4*, 1m50 level, Susan Griffis), Mr Uno-K van ’t Kattenheye (with whom Nicola Philippaerts performed up to and including five-star level), Melodie-K van ’t Kattenheye (5*, 1m50 level, Michael Hughes), Jappelou-K van ’t Kattenheye (1m45 level, Jan Vermeiren and Lorenzo Barzaghi) and Moncherie-K van ’t Kattenheye (3*, 1m45 level, Marit Haarr Skollerud).
