The filly Vernatsch by Vintage One is large-framed, yet moves with ease and grace. Under his show name Vintage, her sire is a great talent in the stables of the Belgian Olympic rider Niels Bruynseels. He was crowned Belgian Champion of the Seven-Year-Olds in 2025 and recently placed in the Youngster Final at Hickstead with strong rounds.
The dam, Congata’s Dame, by Contendro I and Langata Express xx, represents the successful Holstein line 5421, which has enjoyed success in both show jumping and dressage like almost no other. Her only half-sister bred specifically for show jumping is Ramila, who has placed at 1.60m level for Canada. Ramila’s only son, in turn, is the licensed 1.60m stallion Luganer (by Landclassic). Congata’s Dame is the sister of three licensed stallions and closely related to stallions such as Ramiro’s Boy, Ramiro’s Bube, Ramiro’s Son I+II and Quebec.
