Dam Usha van het Gerendal is a direct daughter of the 1m60 classed mare Gin Tonic van het Gerendal. Currently, at the age of 10, she can be seen at five-star Grand Prix level with Armando Trapote. This top mare is the sister of another top horse: Dourkhan Hero. Both, like the now 1m55-classified Qiara de Kalvarie (Gilles Thomas), come from Zinka de Kalvarie. She, in turn, goes back through various branches to the foundation mare Usha van’t Roosakker.
