Elka is a modern mare offering excellent rideability and comfort. She jumps with scope, a strong technique and a cooperative, positive mentality. In the course she remains confident and consistent, making her suitable for both ambitious amateurs and professional riders. Elka has experience in 6-year-old classes up to 1.30m.
Under saddle, Elka shows that she has blood in a very rideable way. She is sharp and attentive without becoming hot, stays easy to control and works with the rider. This gives her extra sharpness while maintaining comfort and rideability.
Sire Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN (Clinton x Toulon) needs little introduction. This 1.60m Grand Prix stallion is one of the most influential sires of the moment and produced top performers such as Killer Queen VDM, Jeunesse and Elektric Blue P, all successful at 1.70m Grand Prix level. Eldorado is known for producing horses with power, mentality and long-term durability.
Dam Kalusina (Le Tot de Semilly) competed herself up to 1.15m level and comes from the exceptionally strong Amelusina damline, one of the most proven sport families in international showjumping. Through Le Tot de Semilly, she carries the blood of a legendary sire responsible for countless 1.60m Grand Prix horses.
Second dam T. Amelusina II (Calando I) is a key mare within this performance family. From this damline come multiple international showjumpers, including:
