Talisman is a son of Grand Slam VDL who has recently moved to the stables of Jur Vrieling after an amazing career under Marlon Modolo Zanotelli. Under Marlon Grand Slam VDL won the Nations Cup of Rome, was 2nd in the GP of Bordeaux, 5th in the World Cup of Helsinki and had a long list of International results together. Many stallions don’t have the chance to compete in the top sport with their offspring however Grand Slam VDL is an exception. Ganster WW, Larsson and
Lyandro MDB all compete at 1.60m level at just 9 years of age. The grandmother of Talisman, Canturan, competed at 1.40m and is the sister of Cranberry De Jarsay Z (1.55m) and Caid de Jarsay Z (1.50m). The 1.60m performers Zurich and Empire also descend from this line.
