This exciting bay colt needs no introduction; son of Dermott Lennon’s prolific 1.60m GP winning mare Loughview Lou Lou, Loughview Cornet is one of the headline lots for this year’s yearling auction.
Loughview Lou Lou, a winner of multiple 1.60m Grand Prix’s Internationally, including notably, but not exclusively, the CSIO5* Gijon 1.60m (2011), CSI5* London Olympia GP 1.60m (2011) and the CSI 3* Royal Windsor GP 1.60m (2013). Lou Lou is one of the outstanding competition mares of her generation, with a winning attitude, and exemplary technique.
This stunning colt is sired by the legendary Cornet Obolensky, who is arguably one of the World’s most successful sires. A leading competitor himself, Cornet started his world Cup career in 2008 with Marco Kutscher. The pair went on to be members of the German Nations Cup winning team at Rotterdam***** where they also placed 2ndin the Grand Prix. As a nine-year-old, Cornet Obolensky was the youngest member of the German showjumping team at the Beijing Games. In 2012, he was a member of the winning Nations Cup teams at Rotterdam and Rome, won the Grand Prix of Zurich***** and placed at most of Europe’s top competitions.
