This interesting Coastleader van de Braembeier Z is a sibling to the 1.60m-level performer Evita van ’t Zoggehof, ridden by Lorenzo De Luca, as well as the 1.45m-level horses Lionel van Equinta and Jolie van ’t Zoggehof. His dam Anais Anais de Muze was successfully competing at 1.45m-level and is also recorded as the granddam of multiple international showjumpers, including the 1.55m stallion Obama de la Liniere. Anais Anais de Muze is a daughter of the famous broodmare Fragance de Chalus, celebrated as the dam of the outstanding Grand Prix stallions Mylord Carthago, Bamako de Muze, and Norton d’Eole. Fragance de Chalus also produced the 1.50/1.55m-level horses Arc en Ciel de Muze, Hugh Grant de Muze, Iorio, and Jolly Mome, and appears in the second generation of numerous 1.60m horses, including the WEG competing stallion Jaguar vd Berghoeve. The influential Grand Prix stallion Carrera VDL has confirmed his strong breeding value once again this year, being represented by three offspring at the EC in A Coruña.
