Under Gilles Thomas, sire Ermitage Kalone has proven himself to belong to the absolute elite. This Grand Prix winner secured team gold and individual bronze at the EC this year and also appears to be a major asset for breeding. His oldest offspring are performing at 1.40m-level at the age of seven, and in this pedigree Ermitage Kalone is paired with a strong performance damline. Granddam Pavillio Z produced, among others, the international 1.40m-level horses Darena MB and Cirena II Z, and can also be found in the second generation behind the 1.45/1.50m performers Nereno Z and Eldorenus Z. In the third generation, Vareno MB traces back to the 1.40m-level mare Haleska, a half-sister to Eric Willemsz-Geeroms’ Grand Prix horse Mr. Itt. This direct damline has also produced the 1.50/1.60m horses Chico Z and High Big Andi K. As the dam’s sire, the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Andiamo contributes his performance genes. He has produced top-level performers such as Avenzio 3, Billy Manjaro, and Azurus di Sabuci.
