Skaramouche de Muze is a seven-year-old mare by Eames de Hus, descending from the dam line of Bamako de Muze, Taran de la Pomme, and further back from some of the most influential mares in modern showjumping breeding. She comes from an exceptionally strong performance and breeding family, where sport and genetics go hand in hand.
The dam of Skaramouche de Muze is Lakita de Muze, a daughter of Bamako de Muze and Caipiranja, a mare by Taran de la Pomme. Caipiranja herself competed at the highest level (1.60m) under the saddle of Tiffany Foster, and together they won, among others, the prestigious CSIO5 Grand Prix of Calgary* in 2017.
Caipiranja is a daughter of Carrera de Muze, a Darco mare who competed at 1.40m level and proved her true value in breeding. Carrera de Muze is the dam of three international sport horses: Caipiranja (1.60m), Demoiselle de la Pomme (1.45m), and Polle M (1.50m), showcasing her exceptional producing quality.
The dam of Carrera de Muze is the famous Exquis Walnut de Muze, a daughter of Nabab de Rêve. Walnut de Muze competed at 1.60m level with Harrie Smolders, and this duo won the CSIO5 of Madrid*, the CSIO5 of Dublin*, and many other major international events. Exquis Walnut de Muze also proved herself as a broodmare, producing Everest de Muze (1.50m), Fétard de la Pomme (1.55m), Falaise de Muze (1.50m), I’m Special de Muze (1.50m), Carrera de Muze (1.45m), and the promising stallion T’Is Parfait van het Schaek.
Exquis Walnut de Muze is a daughter of the legendary mare Querly Chin, by Chin Chin, who also competed at 1.60m level and became one of the most influential mares of her generation. Querly Chin is the dam of an impressive list of international showjumpers, including Merveille de Muze (1.60m), Narcotique de Muze II (1.60m), Walloon de Muze (1.60m), Exquis Walnut de Muze (1.60m), Napoleon (1.55m), Delirium de Mars (1.50m), MOM’s Werly Chin de Muze (1.50m), Narcotique de Muze IV (1.50m), and Tchin de Pleville (1.40m).
Querly Chin herself is a daughter of Kerly, by Pachat II, who was also successful at the 1.60m level. This makes Skaramouche de Muze the direct heir to multiple generations of proven sport horses and broodmares, each of whom has left a significant mark on international showjumping.
