The four-year-old Red Chilli van de Hagenhorst stands out for his scope and excellent canter. He is not saddle broken yet.
In 2019 the offspring of sire Diarado (1.50m level) really broke through at top level. His 9-yr-old son Don Diarado, for example, won team bronze at the WEG in Tryon under Maurice Tebbel. Dicas (Margie Goldstein-Engle), Roelofsen Horsetrucks Eldorado S (Jeroen Dubbeldam), Diablo Z (Leon Thijssen), Dakota (Alberto Zorzi) and Black Pearl (Penelope Leprevost).
His dam Quartin DC boasts a very interesting pedigree as a daughter of Comme il Faut x Nabab de Rêve x Carthago x Lys de Darmen. Her damline traces back to the famous broodmare Carthina Z (Carthago), the dam of five 1.60m–1.70m Grand Prix horses, including the famous stallions Emerald van ’t Ruytershof and Nixon van ’t Meulenhof.
