In the pedigree of Shemar I.K., the talented Totilas son Total McLaren is paired with the damline of the international Grand Prix dressage stallion Westpoint (s.Jazz) ridden by Kirsten Beckers. Dam Katniss I.K. demonstrated above-average movement quality and dressage talent in the IBOP with a score of 78 points. She is a half-sister to the ZZ-Licht (4th) level dressage horse Natcho I.K. (s.Blue Hors Farrell), and this direct family also produced Small Tour horses such as Lavita I.K. (s.George Clooney), Evita (s.Oscar), and Generation (s.Zhivago). Sire Total McLaren already made a name for himself in the Bundeschampionat and now focuses fully on breeding after an injury. This Shemar I.K., from his second crop, carries the valuable performance genes of the international Grand Prix dressage stallion Glamourdale in the second generation.
