Venezia is a superb full-grown mare with a number of top placings at international level up to 1.35m and at national level up to 1.40m. Venezia excels featuring an energetic canter with an excellent attitude towards jumping and an impressive and careful jump. She has a great appetite for jumping and always tries to help her rider. During her international career she secured many victories and podium finishes in 1.30 -1.35m classes up to CSI3* level under the saddle of Mark Klus. Thanks to her experience, performance and rideability, she is suitable for ambitious amateurs or juniors. Her sire Valentino carries the bloodlines of legends such as Voltaire and Nimmerdor. Valentino demonstrated a powerful jump as he succeeded at advanced level competition, and is now proving himself as a sire. Earning a spectacular 9.6 for jumping ability and 9’s for temperament and willingness at the 2005 Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf, Valentino easily won the jumper division of the test, and was ultimately the Reserve Champion overall. Valentino was not only an impressive jumper but he is also an outstanding sire. He has produced 3 licensed sons, 28 States Premium Mares/Candidates, and 39 foals and 10 horses in the Hanoverian elite auctions. Valentino’s damsire, Belisar, is most likely responsible for Valentino’s wonderful gaits. Her dam Calima is by Concetto, a particularly clever and congenial juvenile stallion, bred out of a world-famous Thoroughbred bloodline. Concetto has sensational jumping skill, with limitless scope and refined leg techinque and jumping style. His basic gaits are moreover of the finest quality.
