Chini con Candy F received an excellent score of 83,3%at her foal inspection. The dam, Diamant v/t Dauwhof, has achieved Elite status due to the success of her offspring. Both Chini con Carême (by Carême) and China con Kannan F (by Kannan) have competition records in 1.50m showjumping. Chini con Londia F (by Nabab de Reve), Chini con Cumulus F (by Silber Sky F), and Chini con Minas (by Chacfly PS) were awarded jumping premiums as 3-year-olds with high scores for their jumping abilities. Four of her offspring have sold at the SWB Elite Foal Auctions over the years. The grand-dam, Westy, has merits in M-level showjumping. She is the dam of Gazelle v/t Dauwhof (by Cicero van Paemel Z), with international 1.45m showjumping placements. She also produced the approved stallion Jappelloup v/h Dauwhof (by Echo vh Neerenbosch) and Wood-Stock, who has placements in M-level dressage. Conthargos showed great promise as a young horse and had a very successful sport career ahead of him until an unfortunate injury ended his competitive journey. Despite this setback, his legacy continues through his many offspring that now dominate international high-level show jumping courses around the world. He is currently ranked 16th among the world’s best showjumping stallions by the WBFSH, with over 30 of his progeny competing at the international 1.60-1.70 m level. Some notable examples include Pia Contra with Nicolas Pizarro, Conthargo-Blue with Eiken Sato, Chadina with Mckayla Langmeier, Abril Iconthon with José María Larocca ,Cocolina/ Natalie Dean, Carlotte with Johnny Pals, Connecticut with Luis Alejandro, Conchento PS with Luciana Diniz och Concona with Ben Maher. Additionally, Conthargos has several approved sons, including Continental Blue and Conthinder, both of which compete at the international 1.60m level. Conthargos’ sire is the well-known Converter I, who, in turn, is descended from Contender. The dam of Conthargos, Cajandra, is by the legendary Carthago, who participated in two Olympics, ridden by the Belgian Jos Lansink. Cajandra has produced six offspring competing at the high level of the sport.
