This is something we have noticed before, horses with French genes are late bloomers and this 2-yr-old is still a youthful horse to see. He reminds us a lot of his grandsire Quick Star, who is, amongst others, sire of Olympic champion Big Star and many other top-class horses. This is also a very interesting horse, because he is the half-brother of five international showjumping horses including Calgary XI (1.60m Grand Prix).

Rolex Sino MB is a son of the 9-yr-old O’Neill van ’t Eigenlo, who performed under the name Minute Man with McLain Ward last year. However with Willem Greve there is a much better bond. He recently started the son of the world champion Vigo d’Arsouilles out of the valuable broodmare Gitania van ’t Eigenlo at 1.55m level.

Dam B-Ursina (Quick Star) – also for sale in this auction – breeds sublimely. International offspring are Calgary XI (1.60m GP under Sadrine Berger), Fursina VDM (1.45m level), Heldorado (1.45m level), Maximiliano (1.40m level) and JB Ursina (1.30m level).

B-Ursina is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Tersina and Dundas VDM, Heechhiem’s Circina VDM (1.55m level), Bersina VDM (1.50m level) and seven showjumping horses at 1.30m level to 1.40m level herself. They all come from Jersina (Nimmerdor x Notaris), a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Loyrentz.
