Sire Cartello VDL is a son of Cartani out of the same dam as the legendary stallion Cardento VDL. This filly Cigali VDL Z is bred out of the 1.45m jumping mare Kigali van de Bisschop – a direct daughter of Heroine de Muze. The Tinka’s Boy daughter, ridden by Taizo Sugitani for many years, is perhaps the best broodmare in the world. Indeed, Heroine de Muze is dam of Levis de Muze – Ioli Mytilineou’s dream horse, Nimrod de Muze – one of the most consistent 1.60m showjumpers under Pedro Veniss, Morfine de Muze – Grand Prix showjumper with Rik Hemeryck, and Kitona de Muze – Grand Prix showjumper with Alexis Deroubaix. Not to mention the many 1.45m and 1.50m showjumpers out of Heroine de Muze, such as MoM’s Kokaine van Eeckelghem, Litchi de la Liniere and Kirby de Muze.
