Fahrenheit de Vains is the result of a cross between the star Cornet Obolensky and Ismen du Thot, by Qredo de Paulstra.
His sire, Cornet Obolensky, is a great international winner. He has 8 victories and more than 80 rankings under the saddle of Mr. Kutscher: European Team Champion in 2011 in Madrid and 11th in individual, winner of Nations Cups in Rome, Rotterdam in 2008, 2011 and 2012, 2nd in Aachen and 3rd in Hickstead, 1st in the GP CSI5* in Zürich, winner of the Samsung Super League Final in Barcelona in 2007 and 2008.
Cornet Obolensky has been one of the best sires of winners in the world show jumping ranking for 10 years: he is 11th in the world in 2020 with winning products in CSI, GCT, World Cup, CSIO including :
- Clooney 51, European Individual Champion in Rotterdam, 1st of the GP 160 CSI5* in Geneva, 1st GP CSI5*-W in Lyon with Mr. Fuchs ;
- As Il Faut, 5th in individual at the European Championship in Rotterdam, winner of the World Cup Grand Prix in Madrid, winner of the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Vienna, winner of the GP CSI5* in Brussels;

- His dam, Ismen du Thot, has evolved at the highest level under the saddle of Kevin Staut (ISO 152). She also proved to be a quality sire, notably with : Obligée de Vains, performing in CSI2* and winner in national GPs (ISO 149); Quizz de Vains, classified in CSI1* under the saddle of T. ROUSSEAU (ISO 137); Vivaccio de Vains, competing in 1.40m events (ISO 125); Euripide de Vains, very regular at 5 and 6 years old (ISO 133).
His 2nd dam, also produced : Romance du Thot (ISO 138) and Junon du Thot (second mother of Uno du Thot, performer in CSI3*).
His 3rd dam, Kelfie, is none other than the dam of Idéo du Thot (ISO 180), winner of the World Cup final and of La Luna du Thot (ISO 159).
