The six year old mare Ultime is a combination of the very best of Belgian breeding. This year, she has competed successfully at 1.20m with an amateur rider, although her potential has been far from reached.
She has an excellent temperament and will always do her utmost for her rider, particularly as she is is very adjustable with take-off distances. She would be an ideal mount for an ambitious amateur, is ready to excel on the Youngster Tour next season and is a strong prospect for high level Grand Prix competitions. She is always eager to jump and companies impressive scope with a careful mind and body. Furthermore, she boasts an exceptional pedigree, making her not only a superb sport prospect but also would be of much interest for breeding in the future.
Her sire, Fantomas de Muze, is an elite stallion and a successful international show jumper, having competed at 1.60 m. His hallmarks were the combination of extraordinary scope and power-off the floor, with excellent rideability under riders Karline and Koen Vereecke. His sire, Sandro Boy, competed successfully with Marcus Ehning at 1.60 m, including a victory in (including winning) the World Cup Final, while his dam, Cordula de Laubry, is considered to be one of the world’s premier broodmares; she has produced an incredible eight offspring competing at elite 1.60 m level (such as Brooklyn Heights, Igor de Muze, Lord de Muze, and the stallion Lector van den Bisschop).
Ultime’s maternal sire, the stallion Kashmir van Schuttershof, competed successfully at the highest international Grand Prix level (1.60 m) with Philippe Lejeune. As a sire, he has also left an indelible mark, consistently ranking within the top 10 of the WBFSH world sire rankings. He produced more than 30 licensed sons, and over 90 of his offspring have jumped at 1.60 m. One of his most famous sons was H and M All In who became Individual European Champion in 2017 and won the Double Individual Olympic Silver medals at both Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 with Sweden´s Peder Fredricson.
