Miss Hamburg

Miss Hamburg is an eight year old mare with a proven record up to 1.15 m, however she clearly possesses the ability and willingness to jump bigger and more demanding tracks. She is ridden by a junior who has consistently achieved excellent results. She is very well- behaved and straightforward, featuring a rhythmical strong canter and a good jumping technique. Equally she is forgiving of rider error. Therefore she would be ideal for an amateur or junior and would also make a suitable transition horse for someone moving up from ponies.

During the filming, she cleared some big jumps with ease and without hesitation. She is ready for bigger classes next season. Given her high percentage of Thoroughbred blood and temperament, she also has the potential to be an eventing horse.

Her sire is the Holsteiner stallion Ikarus, who excelled in eventing reaching CCI3* level, but also who competed to 1.40m in show jumping. As a young horse competing in Germany he regularly earned scores over 9.0 in cross- country tests. Her damsire, Chin Champ, also a Holsteiner, is renowned for his exceptional movement and jumping potential, both traits he passes on to his numerous successful sport offsprings.
