Zacantino

Zacantino is a six year old gelding who has competed experience up to 1.20m, including several wins and placings. This year, he was successful in a breeding series of competitions for young horses, securing 2nd place in the qualifier for six-year-olds with a high score for his jumping style. This attractive, likeable gelding is very gentle to ride, possesses a smooth canter, and is overall an arm-chair ride. With his stylish jump, rhythmical canter, excellent rideability and calm temperament, he is a suitable candidate not only for show jumping but also would be of interest for hunter classes.

His sire, Cantinoso, competed up to 1.55m (ridden by Bianca Babanitz). Although he is only ten years old, his offspring are already proving successful in young horse competitions. Cantinoso’s own sire, Canoso, a son of the legendary Catoki, has already produced more than ten licensed sons. Canoso is known for passing on excellent movement, athleticism and jumping ability to his progeny. The dam’s sire descends from a powerful combination of Zeus and Ramiro Z, which imparts a modern sport-horse conformation, superior movement, and a willing attitude under saddle. Descendants of the line tracing back to Marlon have achieved their greatest successes in show jumping, however they also excel in eventing and dressage.
