In October 2019 Colestus was eleventh in the 1.60m World Cup class at Oslo. Four months later he was eighth in the 1.60m at Doha, Al Shaqab. Both Ludger Beerbaum and Christian Kukuk have ridden him.
The closest performer in this damline is the uncle I’m Blue RV. He won the 1.40m Grand Prix at Lastrup in August 2022, double clear. A month later he started at 1.45m in Riesenbeck. He comes out of the granddam Excellent RV (prok, voorlopig keur), as do the aunt Junique RV (sport(spr)), listed at 1.35m by HorseTelex, and the dam Noraly. She is Elite with the EPTM jumping test and D-OC, and Colestus Field Z is her fourth foal, after one by Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof and two by Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN.
Third dam Unique R holds keur, pref and prest. One generation further, thirteen of fourth dam Ninke R’s twenty-one offspring competed. Balans RV (s.Cardento) won a 1.40m class in Brussels in September 2015, double clear. This is the RV family, breeding family 483, and it delivers predicates close by and sport across the board.
