Under Donald Whitaker, Di Caprio (s.Diarado) competed at the European Championships in Milan, won the Nations Cup (0/0) at CSIO5* Abu Dhabi and finished second in the 4* Grand Prix of Gorla Minore. Wrexham was bred out of the same dam, making him a half-brother to the international 1.45m level showjumpers Captain Casall and the stallion Diassini 3 as well. Moreover, dam Zanzahra is the granddam of Sofie Svensson’s 1.50m-level Holsteiner-approved stallion Cieran. It comes as no surprise that Zanzahra passes on so much jumping talent, as she is a full sister to the 5* Grand Prix horse Cassina, who was successful with Maximilian Lill and Spencer Smith. The international 1.45/1.50m horses Numeri and A Corrada also descend directly from Wrexham’s granddam Raritaet I. Combined with this successful Holsteiner damline 1752 is the Olympic stallion Cartello VDL, who appears to have all the qualities required to follow in the footsteps of his renowned half-brother Cardento as a sire.
