The bay Zojelle Balou Dream won the Polish Sport Horse Days in Drzonków just days before this review was published, earning 8.9 points for type and 8.8 points for movement! She had previously placed among the top horses at the Pilchów Championships, demonstrating that she continues to go through the various stages of development without losing any of her exceptional quality!

And her pedigree is equally impressive. Balou du Rouet, her sire, remains at the forefront of sire rankings. For the fifth consecutive time, he has placed in the top fifteen in the WBFSH rankings. He is the sire of, among others, the double Olympic silver medalist, Baloutinue. His offspring have achieved success at 160 cm, including Babalou/Darragh Kenny/IRL, who finished fourth in Aachen. Balou du Rouet’s daughter Ortane, ridden by Max von der Polla/NED, won gold at the 2025 World Championships for Jumping Horses (6-Year-Olds), winning the gold medal. Among Balou du Rouet’s more than 70 licensed sons are multiple Grand Prix winners.

His dam, Zoja, is a daughter of the Oldenburg Körung champion stallion Zinedream, who has achieved success in top-tier international equestrian sport (CSI5*) and has proven himself as a successful sire. He has won the Grand Prix (CSIO5*) in Abu Dhabi, the World Cup qualifiers in Riyadh, and competitions in Ising. This year, he received the honorary title of “Oldenburger Future Stallion 2026,” which was awarded based on the excellent results of his offspring (up to 9 years old) in competitions at 140 cm and above.
