He certainly has a distinctive appearance. Although that won’t be the only reason this foal stands out. His sire, J-Nius, is regarded as a promising prospect in breeding and seems to be living up to that expectation, as his first crop of offspring is making a positive impression. In this case, he has been paired with the sister of the 1m45-classified Dublin H and the equally internationally classified Ciranka H. On the dam’s side, too, we recognise several international show jumpers, including the 1m45-classified Little Rock RG and the 1m40-classified Varanka and Bjorn. The foundation of this top line is, incidentally, rock-solid and has proven itself in competition. For if you go back just one more generation, you will recognise the dam of Angelique Horn’s former 1m60 top horses: Hascal and Zascal.
