Ulysse Royal Kaliber Z is a colt out of the first crop of Nations Cup, Grand Prix and World Cup winner Utamaro d’Eccaussines of Joe Clee, William Whitaker and Niels Bruynseels.
The granddam of this colt competed with Simon Schröder on the international scene. She is a direct sister of the 2004 Olympic team champion and individual bronze medallist Royal Kaliber of USA’s Chris Kappler. A year before the Olympics, Royal Kaliber and Kappler finished 3rd in the Aachen Grand Prix after 2 clears, just 2 days after the pair also jumped double clear in the Nations Cup.
A brother of both Royal Kaliber and this colt’s granddam jumped at 1.60m with Enrique Gonzalez and a sister gave Russell Johnstone World Cup horse Dondersteen.
With lot’s of blood, a good type and size, and multiple Olympic medals in the family Ulysses Royal Kaliber Z is on the road to success.
