Soof is a filly by Grand Slam VDL and Berlin. Grand Slam combines the blood of the eternal Cardento and Heartbreaker. Under Marlon Zanotelli, Grand Slam has started his rise into stardom producing tremendous rounds in the Barcelona Nations Cup final, the World Cup’s over the winter and this year in the Rolex Grand Prix at Den Bosch before going back to the breeding shed for the summer season. A sister of this filly competes in the sport herself and gave the 8 year old, 1.40m competing Jhe Thros of Aniek Poels. The dam of this filly is Beatrice, a daughter of the European and World Champion Berlin. She competed in the sport herself up to 1.45m level under José Bicudo. Beatrice, the dam of this filly is a sister of the 1.55m successful Waldemar of Jordy Van Gerwen and of Christie Prichard who won international Junior Grand Prix with him. Another sister is the grand dam of Kimberly White’s 1.45m 2* Grand Prix horse Hippo B. The 3rd dam is the dam of the great stallion Jacomar of Marc Houtzager and sisters of Jacomar are responsible for Christian Ahlmann’s Sebastian, Nina Fagerström’s Uruguay, Charlotte Pals-Verhaegen’s Willemijn HL and a long list of 1.45m to 1.60m horses.
