Mieke Fortuna has gained experience in competitions for 5-yr-old showjumping horses and she is a very nice sport horse. She is careful, she is easy and comfortable under the saddle and has very friendly character. Her sire Arezzo VDL broke through at 1.60m level under Jessica Kürten and is sire of, amongst others, VDL Edgar M, who participated in the Olympic Games in Tokyo Marlon Modolo Zanotelli last year and finished with a clear round for the Brazilian team. Dam T Fortuna (Peter Pan) is a ster-prestatie- awarded mare and also dam of Dartuna VDL (1.45m level), Happytuna (1.45m level), Artuna (1.35m level) and Cadans de Muze (1.30m level showjumping and Z1 dressage). She is also grandam of Emmerton (1.65m Grand Prix under Kevin Jochems, NED), Fenna (1.50m ridden by Cassio Rivetti, BRA) and the 7-yr-old Zangersheide licensed stallion Kayne E VDL (Harley VDL), now at 1.35m level under Alex David Gill (GBR). Grandam Fortuna (Ahorn x Frostwind) produced three showjumping horses at 1.35m to 1.45m level.
