This 5-year-old mare is a real powerhouse; Melien jumps with tremendous scope and push from the floor and makes the jumps look small. With her striking canter and effortless scope, Melien is a mare with all the ingredients to become a Grand Prix horse. In addition, she is very careful and clever on the fence. Her sire Grandorado TN excels with Willem Greve and is considered one of the most exciting upcoming stars in sport and breeding. Grandsire Kannan is one of the all-time greats and granddam Elien is a Grand Prix winner ridden by Katharina Offel. There are hardly any horses more competitive than Elien and this combined with the endless scope of Grandorado TN and Kannan makes this 5-year-old powerhouse Melien.
